DAY 1: AIRPORT – JERASH – AMMAN CITY TOUR

Arrive at Queen Alia International Airport, Meet & assist by our representative, then transfer to Jarash , a city of the Decapolis the ONLY best-preserved city of the Roman times out side Italy; include the theatres, temples, and colonnaded street. Lunch in Jerash at Al Bierkteen restaurant. Then go back to Amman for a city tour visiting: Roman theatre, Citadel, Al-Hussein mosque in the dawn town of Amman. And Transfer to the hotel for check in, Dinner and Overnight in Amman.

DAY 2: AMMAN – MADABA – MOUNT NEBO – BETHANY – DEAD SEA – PETRA

Breakfast at hotel.. Drive to Madaba; “The City of Mosaics” visiting the contemporary Greek Orthodox church of St. George the wonderfully vivid 6th- century Byzantine mosaic map showing the entire region from Jordan and Palestine in the north to Egypt in the south, then visiting Mt. Nebo where Moses have gone to get a view of the Promised Land before he died and from a platform in front of the church one can enjoy a breathtaking view across the Jordan Valley. Proceed to visit the Bethany where is the river where Jesus of Nazareth was baptized by John the Baptist. Then proceed to Amman tourist beach for lunch and free time for swimming at the Dead Sea near the Jordan River, the lowest point on Earth 409 meters below sea level, It is also one of the world’s saltiest bodies of water, with 33.7% salinity (You can not sink, you will float). The Dead Sea area has become a major centre for health research and treatment for several reasons, free time at Leisure for swimming at the Dead Sea .Evening time drive to Petra and Transfer to the hotel for check in, Dinner and Overnight in Petra.

DAY 3: PETRA – AIRPORT

Breakfast at hotel.. Full day tour visiting Petra; the home of the Nabateans. The complete city carved in a mountain with the huge colorful rocks mostly pink that called the red-rose city and the entrance to the ancient city is through a 1.25 km narrow gorge in the mountain called the Siq. Before you reach the siq, visitors will experience and enjoy a short horse ride for 700 m. In the city are various structures, all (except 2) are carved into rock, including al Khazneh – known as the Treasury – which has been designated as one of the “New Seven Wonders of the World”. Other major sites of interest in Petra include the Monastery, the Roman Theater, the Royal Tombs, and the High Place of Sacrifice. Petra was rediscovered for the western world by Swiss explorer Johann Ludwig Burckhardt in 1812. Lunch inside Petra. Continue the site visit. Back to hotel in Petra for refreshment and check out , then transfer to the airport for final departure.

DAY 1: Arrive to Aqaba

DAY 2: Aqaba – Wadi Rum

DAY 3: Wadi Rum – Petra

DAY 4: Petra – Amman

After breakfast, full day exploring Petra through The winding gorge to a Magnificent city carved out of rose – red rock 2000 years ago by the Nabatean Arabs, Petra is the treasure of ancient world, hidden behind an almost impenetrable barrier of rugged mountains, boasting incomparable scenes that make it the most majestic and imposing ancient site still-standing nowadays.. DAY 5: Amman City Tour

After breakfast, morning city tour of Amman, visit the citadel, the archaeological Museum, roman amphitheater, the folklore museum, continue tour to Jerash the “Pompeii” of the Middle East and the most beautiful preserved Greco-roman city in existence, the 2,000 year-old Greco-Roman ruins of Jerash are recognized as one of the best preserved member cities of the Decapolis, a confederation of 10 Greco-Roman cities. When Emperor Hadrian paid a visit in 129 AD, the place was buzzing, drive back to your hotel. Overnight in Amman.

DAY 6: Amman – Final Departure

After breakfast, transfer you to Queen Alia Int’l Airport for your departure flight and back home or possibility to extend stay for more nights in Jordan.
